消化科是1956年伴隨北京中醫(yī)醫(yī)院成立而設(shè)立的院內(nèi)重點(diǎn)科室，在全國(guó)消化脾胃領(lǐng)域具有重要的影響，是首都醫(yī)科大學(xué)中醫(yī)、中西醫(yī)結(jié)合消化研究生的主要培養(yǎng)基地，現(xiàn)為國(guó)家臨床重點(diǎn)?？?，國(guó)家中醫(yī)重點(diǎn)?？?、國(guó)家中醫(yī)藥管理局脾胃病重點(diǎn)學(xué)科、重點(diǎn)研究室、繼續(xù)教育基地，北京市中西醫(yī)結(jié)合消化重點(diǎn)學(xué)科、重點(diǎn)?？?，北京市中醫(yī)消化特色診療中心，國(guó)家中醫(yī)藥管理局全國(guó)脾胃病協(xié)作組組長(zhǎng)單位，中華中醫(yī)藥學(xué)會(huì)脾胃病分會(huì)和北京中醫(yī)藥學(xué)會(huì)脾胃病專業(yè)委員會(huì)的牽頭和掛靠單位。

該中心門(mén)診年接診病人16萬(wàn)余人，住院患者800余人。現(xiàn)有醫(yī)務(wù)人員37名，其中醫(yī)師24名。先后承擔(dān)國(guó)家支撐計(jì)劃、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金課題10余項(xiàng)，發(fā)表論文300余篇、出版專著10余部。

脾胃病中心中西醫(yī)并重，擁有當(dāng)今最先進(jìn)診斷和治療的儀器設(shè)備，如北京最先進(jìn)的超聲內(nèi)鏡、高清晰度放大內(nèi)鏡、熒光內(nèi)鏡、窄波內(nèi)鏡、膠囊內(nèi)鏡、食道壓力及24小時(shí)PH值測(cè)定系統(tǒng)、肛門(mén)直腸測(cè)壓和生物反饋治療系統(tǒng)等。開(kāi)展了內(nèi)鏡下治療、中藥結(jié)腸治療、穴位敷貼、離子導(dǎo)入、磁療等中西醫(yī)結(jié)合消化專科特色療法。

Eachyear,morethan160,000outdoorpatientsandover800indoorpatientsfromallwalksoflifecometoDepartmentofGastroenterology,BeijingHospitalofTraditionalChineseMedicine.Thereare37healthstaffincluding24physiciansworkingtogetheracrossmedicalspecialtiestoprovideeverypatientwiththebestqualitycare.Sofarmorethan10nationalrankedprojectsincludingStateSupportingPlanandNaturalScienceFoundationofChinahavebeenundertakenwithinacultureofcollaboration,over300thesesandmorethan10monographsalsohasbeenpublishedaswell.

Equipedwiththemostadvanceddiagnosticandtreatmentequipments,suchastheultrasoundendoscope,high-definitionzoomendoscope,fluorescenceendoscope,narrowbandendoscope,capsuleendoscope,esophagealmanometryand24-hourpHvaluemeasurementsystem,theanorectalmanometryandbiofeedbacktreatmentsystemetal,theDigestionCenterhasbeencarryingoutintegrativemedicinedigestivetreatmentsincludingendoscopictherapy,traditionalChinesemedicinecolontherapy,pointapplication,iontophoresisandmagnetictherapyaswell.Thisoftenresultsinaquickdiagnosis,andtreatments,whichconfirmsthedepartment’sdeliveringsuperiormedicalcareinbothChineseandWesternmedicine.
